Dr. Hilburg spent much of her academic career at Columbia University, where she began on a part-time basis in 2004 and became full-time in 2007. During that period, she served as Director of the Third-Year Clinical Program and Director of Clinical Systems. More recently, she has held senior clinical affairs positions at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine and Touro College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hilburg received her DDS Degree in 1986 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she also earned an undergraduate degree in biology.
In her role as Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Dr. Hilburg will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic management for all Patient-Centered Care and Clinical Compliance activities including, but not limited to, serving as Dental Director of the College’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Quality Assurance of Patient Care, Patient Relations, Credentialing and Privileging of Clinical Faculty, Patient Recruitment and Retention, Patient Health Records Management, Development and Curation of Clinical Policies and Procedures, and Clinical Risk Management.
