HIV/AIDS Research Program

The HIV/AIDS Research Program is a multidisciplinary group based in New York at the New York University College of Dentistry. The group was formed in 2006 to facilitate collaborative clinical and basic research studies on the mechanism of HIV infection, transmission, and disease progression. The group's collaborations are global and include, besides New York University's College of Dentistry and School of Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania's Schools of Medicine and Engineering, Lehigh University, Leiden University Medical Center in The Netherlands, Nanjing University's Center for Public Health Research in China, and The Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center at Rockefeller University. Please see the Research page for descriptions of our research interests.

Much of our research is supported by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the New York State Office of Science Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR).
