Department of Biomaterials
The laboratories of the Department of Biomaterials occupy the new, state-of-the-art interprofessional building located at 433 First Avenue. The Department encourages an "open laboratory" concept: all laboratories, facilities, and equipment are available for use by all researchers.
The Histology and Correlative Microscopy Core (HCMC) facility is an enclave of the Department of Biomaterials with 1600 square feet of preparation and imaging laboratory space located on the 8th floor in Rooms 815-817 of the Schwartz Building, NYU College of Dentistry, 345 E. 24th Street.
Members of the Department of Biomaterials at NYU College of Dentistry seek to develop the next generation of materials, processes, sensors and devices that have potential to have significant societal impact and improve human health.
