Dean’s Circle Grows by 51 Percent in First Year

Since its inception in spring 1999, the Dean’s Circle, a group of $1,000 annual donors to the College, has grown by 51 percent. In recognition of their support, Dean’s Circle members are invited to join Dean Alfano at an annual dinner and briefing on the state of the College. In June, for the second consecutive year, Dean’s Circle guests enjoyed a balmy evening at the Water Club in New York Harbor.

Associate Dean Stuart M. Hirsch, ’71, who is a founder and cochair of the Dean’s Circle along with Dr. Elliott M. Moskowitz, ’72, says the goal for the current year is to double membership. “Dean Alfano has set forth an extremely ambitious and exciting agenda for the College,” says Dr. Hirsch. It’s a privilege for Dean’s Circle members to help him realize his vision, and it’s a joy for all of us to get together.”
