Mrs. Mabel R. Maller Pays Tribute to the Memory of Her Husband, Dr. J. William Maller, '13

Mrs. Mabel R. Maller has contributed $100,000 to the College to pay tribute to the memory of her husband, Dr. J. William Maller, Class of 1913. Mrs. Maller's decision to honor her husband's memory at his alma mater has enabled NYU Dentistry to create the J. William and Mabel R. Maller Scholarship Fund. The endowed fund will help promising students in financial need defray some of their annual $36,886 tuition expenses.

Commenting on the gift, Dean Alfano said, "Mrs. Maller chose to commemorate the excellent education her husband received at NYU Dentistry by benefiting current and future students of the College. I'm sure he would be pleased to know that his legacy will continue in perpetuity."
