Open to NYU Dentistry alumni, faculty, and friends, each Alumni Series features a guest speaker, followed by a networking cocktail hour. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is responsible for ensuring safe working conditions for all employees. Stay up-to-date and learn about the OSHA/CDD/ADA changes, including the 2016 mandates to employee training and the MSDS/SDS (material safety data sheets/safety data sheets) labeling requirements. Learn how to incorporate these OSHA mandates into your office to be legally compliant. Dr. Mychajliw will reference incidences of infection control non-compliance in both private and institutional settings. This course is open to all dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists and staff.
Dr. Peter Mychajliw has an extensive background in providing comprehensive dental care for disabled patients and has been practicing with an interdisciplinary team approach method since 1990. He is known for his lectures in dental implants, hospital dentistry, dental materials and infection control/OSHA requirements for dentistry.
Dr. Mychajliw is a NYS Department of Health Licensed Infection Control Trainer and received his DDS degree from the NYU College of Dentistry. He currently serves as the Associate Director of the NYU Langone AEGD Program, as well as on the Board of Directors for the Nassau County Dental Society and Greater Long Island Dental Meeting.
