The Alumni Association Alumni Series serves to connect dental professionals and share stories of success. Open to NYU Dentistry alumni, faculty, and friends, each Alumni Series features a guest speaker, followed by a networking cocktail hour. Attendees may also receive 2 or more Continuing Education credits. The Alumni Series are sponsored by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Alumni Dr. Hanna and Dr. Bakhtiari discuss the benefits and risks of using botox in your practice and the required training for dental professionals.
This program is open to all dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists and staff. Earn 2 CE credits and network with fellow alumni and colleagues at our Alumni Association reception.

Dr. Todd Hanna (NYU DDS '08, UAB MD '11) is a double board certified, dual-degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is a double-fellowship trained Head & Neck Oncologic Surgeon and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon of the face, head, neck, and jaws.
Dr. Hanna maintains a private practice in Manhattan and a faculty appointment at the NY Head & Neck Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health System (formerly North Shore-LIJ) within the Department of Head & Neck Surgery. He has authored publications in peer-reviewed journals on facial reconstruction, tongue reconstruction, oral cancer, head & neck cancer, microvascular surgery, facelift and cosmetic surgery, dog-bites, and lip augmentation. Dr. Hanna is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Candidate Fellow of the American Head & Neck Society.
Dr. Nojan Bakhtiari (NYU DDS '11, Orofacial Pain Residency '14) is a board-certified TMD and Orofacial Pain specialist focusing his New York City practice on TMJ disorders, orofacial pain and associated headaches.
Dr. Bakhtiari is a clinical attending and course director at Yale-New Haven Hospital's Oral Surgery and General Dentistry residency programs.
Dr. Bakhtiari is a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. He serves as the chair of the AAOP membership committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and leads the Recent Alumni Committee for the NYU Dentistry Alumni Association.
