Effectively managing and preventing a patient's pain is just as important as actually performing the treatment. The use of local anesthesia as a pain control technique is safe and effective, and can help make your patient comfortable during their treatment.
Renowned dental anesthesiologist Dr. Malamed discusses how to make local anesthetic injections more effective and comfortable for your patients by utilizing:
- Buffering (the local anesthetic "on switch")
- Phentolamine (the local anesthetic "off switch")
- computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery (C-CLAD)
- the nasal local anesthetic spray for maxiallary non-molar teeth
An algorthim for mandibular anesthesia will be presented, followed by a Q & A session.
Earn 2 CE credits for attending the lecture. Bring your dental team and enjoy wine and light bites at our networking reception!
