Dr. Lipp is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and OKU-Dental Honors Society.

Research Interests / Professional Overview

Dr. Mitchell Lipp is Director of Predoctoral Orthodontics. In 2001, he developed the first competency-based course at our College, which continues to be a model for research and scholarship. In 2004, he implemented a pioneering integrated curriculum in clear aligner therapy. Dr. Lipp is a passionate advocate of new methods and ideas in teaching. He is currently involved in projects involving test enhanced learning, gamification, leadership, and narrative film-making in dental education. He is councilor of the ADEA Orthodontic Session, representative to ADEA CCI, a graduate of the ADEA Leadership Institute, and Past Chair of the NYUCD Academy of Distinguished Educators. Dr. Lipp has presented nationally and published in peer reviewed journals.
