Biomaterials & Regenerative Biology

Understanding how a multicellular organism is built during development and how its parts can be re-built during tissue regeneration is fundamental to improve the quality and expectancy of human life. Members of the Biomaterials and Regenerative Biology Group are striving towards this goal through a multifaceted approach that leverages our unique blend of scientific expertise. Research interests include the use of stem cells and organoids to generate specialized tissues and structures, the analysis of tissue development, and the creation of biocompatible scaffolds for developing complex tissues and organoids.
