Zeiss EVO 50 SEM + Correlative Microscopy, Smartstich, and MeX Alicona 3D profilometry

This microscope combines both traditional high vacuum SE and BSE imaging with extended low vacuum capability (i.e. beyond the trip point of water), cold stage, and PGT-Bruker PRISM X-ray energy-dispersive spectroscopy. The microscope is fully digital, is addressable by computer in all 5 stage axes, and performs automated image montaging over extensive XYZ coordinates (SmartStich). Hardware/software is included for performing correlative microscopy together with other light optics microscopes (Shuttle & Find). ISO rated 3D metrology is also featured on this microscope using MeX software.

HCMC X-ray imaging and x-ray diffraction

Scanco 40 microCT

The equipment uses Xray as a source to create individual projection of high resolution single slices. Microcomputed tomography (microCT) create cross-sections of a 3D-object that later can be used to recreate a virtual model without destroying original model. 45-70 Kv, resolution of 8 to 36 micron (sample holder size 12.5mm to 36.9mm)

Edge R400 Realtime
3D Microscope + Syncroscopy
Z-stacking 3D workstation

This microscope provides high resolution (i.e. higher than conventional light microscopy) three-dimensional imaging of microscopic details within histological sections observed in transmitted light. Images are acquired using a QImaging color camera and software. Automated Z through series imaging is possible using a z-stepper and Syncroscopy Automontage software, providing all-in-focus images and 3D visualization. 0.1 µm z-staging allows the calculation of section thickness.
