Jaqueline Franzosi

Jacqueline Franzosi
DDS Student

Jacqueline Franzosi earned her BA in biology and physics from Rutgers University and her MS from Tufts University. Her previous research at UCSF investigated the regulatory mechanisms involved in foregut and lung morphogenesis using the mouse model. Now a DDS student at NYU, she aims to combine her prior laboratory experiences with an interest in craniofacial development to better understand the genetic interactions involved.

Yaowei Liang

Yaowei Liang
DDS Student

Yaowei earned his BS in biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently a DDS candidate at NYU Dentistry. His research interests include craniofacial development. Apart from school, he likes to play basketball and work out.

Jeslyn Mei

Jeslyn Mei
Undergraduate Student

Jeslyn Mei is an undergraduate student at Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, where she is pursuing a BA in Psychology with a Concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience. Her research interests include the molecular mechanisms that control craniofacial morphogenesis, related congenital birth defects, and oral systemic health.

Jinyeong Yu

Jinyeong Yu
Undergraduate Student

Jin is currently a pre-dental student majoring in Biology at New York University. Her other research experience includes studying the expression patterns of transcription genes in neural crest cells with the NIH summer intership program. Jin’s research interests include the transcriptional regulations behind neurocristopathies such as craniosynostosis
