Metabolism & Inflammation

Disorders of metabolism and inflammation underlie diseases of global relevance, including metabolic, inflammatory, infective and genetic diseases. Members of the Metabolism and Inflammation Research Group investigate the complex molecular mechanisms underlying metabolism, inflammation and infection and seek to understand how dysfunction of these processes contributes to disease. Investigators make use of advanced experimental processes in the fields of cell biology, biophysics, microbiology, virology and genetics applied to cell and animal models of disease.
