Dr. Arvin Kadempour is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University in the Ashman Department of Periodontology & Implant Dentistry. He is a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist and Dental Oncologist. With a wide breadth of experience at Private Practices, Dental Schools and Hospital affiliations across the country. He is heavily involved in research and has presented nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kadempour received advanced training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in creating prostheses to rehabilitate patients with defects or deficits of the face and jaws, whether they are acquired because of cancer surgery, traumatic injuries, from alterations in growth and development, or congenital birth defects. As a dental oncologist, Dr. Kadempour is concerned with the effects of head and neck radiation therapy that may promote posttreatment dental complications and result osteoradionecrosis (ORN). In addition to prosthetics design and fabrication for reconstruction of maxillary and mandibular defects, Dr. Kadempour is also trained in surgical planning and treatment of complex dentofacial deformities for intraoral and extraoral defects.
