Dental Student Leadership Institute

Leadership: Learning it, Living it

Dentistry and oral health face challenges and opportunities that will require exceptional leadership as we move forward in the 21st century. Accordingly, developing future leaders for the profession is a major priority for the NYU College of Dentistry.

The NYU Dentistry Dental Student Leadership Institute (DDSLI) provides an opportunity for up to 35 students to participate in a three-year experience comprised of seminars, workshops, internships, shadowing of leaders, mentoring, and leadership roles. Participation is based on an application and selection process during the D1 year.
