Prevention of oral cancer is our mantra. New approaches that raise public awareness and change lifestyles are needed. We advocate regular oral screenings by oral health experts skilled in detecting early signs of cancerous lesions. We believe that prevention of cancer is best achieved through education in tandem with behavior modification and adjustments in lifestyle. Our early detection experts work closely with high-risk individuals including tobacco smokers and alcohol users to curb behaviors known to cause oral cancer.

Oral cancer is much easier to treat when caught early. Unfortunately, most people are not aware of the symptoms of oral cancer. Our experts are highly trained and experienced at diagnosing cancers of the oral cavity. Diagnosis of an oral cancer requires advanced imaging studies, biopsies, and an in-depth personal history of your health and habits. Our clinical team possesses expertise in determining the progression stage of a cancer. The team has experience with all common cancers as well as with a variety of extremely rare malignancies.

Our multidisciplinary team approach ensures the most advanced treatment for precancers and cancers that occur in the mouth, lips, gums, cheeks, tongue, soft palate, mouth floor and salivary glands. Our specialists include head and neck oncologic surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists, plastic surgeons, oral medicine specialists, periodontists, maxillofacial prosthodontists, psychologists, nutrition specialists, speech pathologists, social workers, and spiritual counselors.
