Research Focus
The Jensen lab investigates the role of G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) trafficking and signaling in models of pain, inflammation, and itch. Our group was the first to demonstrate the importance of endosomal signaling of GPCRs in animal models for pain and itch. We use a combination of molecular biology, microscopy, cell culture and behavioral assays to characterize GPCR trafficking and subcellular signaling.
